The danish folk high school
At Brenderup Højskole you can meet young people from all over the world. The teaching is based on this difference – or similarity if you will. Your life, your interests seen in the eyes of others. It shifts your prejudices, gives you a new perspective and personal competencies that follow you for the rest of your life.
We work with sustainable and creative subjects every day. At the school we live together. We eat and do projects together. We go on trips together, discuss everyday life and our lifestyle, inhale culture, party and get tired together.
The international kick
Brenderup Højskole is a folk high school rooted in nature, ecology, and sustainable living. At the same time, we are an open and international community where everyone is welcome.
Young people from all over Denmark — and the world — have become part of life at our school. Most of our long-term students are between 18 and 24 years old. This means you’ll not only discover Danish language and culture, but also meet people from many different countries.
It’s a unique chance to build friendships that last a lifetime and to experience what it means to live in a truly global community.
Teaching at Brenderup Højskole takes place in both Danish and English.
